I ordered this to help with hardening off my seedlings and to grow lettuce overwinter. I was impressed with the craftsmanship and have been pleased with the quality. It is a great addition to my gardening arsenal.
The cold frame is attractive, the wood smells nice and it was simple to complete assembly. I have a few bags of vegetable seedlings in it that Im hardening off before planting.

The materials used to make the coldframe are good quality, built with care. It's easy & straight forward to put together plus it's very sturdy. It did take a while for delivery but it was worth the wait.
This is a fantastic protected growing environment that offers a huge variety of uses for the garden. Its core purpose is to help harden off tender seedlings to help them acclimatise with outdoor temperatures after coming from a warmer environment such as an indoor windowsill. However you can use it as a space to start seedlings in pots and modules, grow salads all winter long, place over a bed to protect plants from frosts and you can even store your hand tools in it! It can be assembled in around 5 minutes after unboxing provided you have a drill handy, and then it’s ready for action. When placing a coldframe, aim for it to be situated pointing south or south-east to enjoy the most direct sunlight, leading to a warmer environment.
